Rouback is live: race safety from start to finish
Spring is here. The legs are good. The races are fast. The radios are… still chaotic. While the peloton is flying over the cobblestones, race safety is still often managed with a mix of experience, instinct, and a lot of radio traffic. So my IDLab (UGent – imec) team built something to support that: Rouback!
A platform designed to support race safety from start to finish, from pre-race course screening to real-time incident tracking during the race. Not to replace the people in the race, but to empower safety teams with better visibility every kilometer of the way.
